Holiday season

Holiday season books to get the festive spirit going

The holiday season is fast approaching and I am really excited. I love to snuggle up on the sofa with a magical Christmas tale and a hot cup of cocoa. There is absolutely nothing better on a cold winter or fall evening according to me.

I really think the holiday season is something extraordinary and something to be enjoyed. And yes, I know it’s still a bit of time before Christmas is really here but I like to start early.

Love stories with a touch of hot chocolate

I get a little bit extra romantic during the holiday season and I can’t help but wanting to read cosy love stories that involve a lot of hot cocoa, snow and christmas food. It’s just the perfect type of book to snuggle up on the sofa under a blanket with.

Snowy, dreamy English countryside or New York during Christmas. Whatever rocks your boat you can find something for you!

This years holiday season books

Every year there are plenty of new releases to choose from and this year is no different (finally something about 2020 that hasn’t changed!). I have chosen three that I cannot wait to read but I could have made the list much much longer!

Readon books during the holidays season is a great way to spend a cosy evening. Light candles and snuggle up under a blanket with a cup of hot cocoa and you are good to go. A few tips on great reads for this holiday season from doifferent author - all full of romance and cosy moments.

The 12 dates of Christmas by Jenny Bayliss

Kate is 34 and not really an expert on dating and her friend is convinced that she needs some help. In a sleepy town in the English countryside it’s kind of hard to find the perfect guy to fall in love with. She signs her up to a dating agency that promises to help her find love before the holiday season is over. Christmas is in 23 days and she has 12 dates to go through.. Will she find the love of her life?

Holiday season read number two: Mistletoe and Mr Right by Sarah Morganthaler

Lana travels to the little town Moose Springs in Alaska to solve the mystery of Santa Moose, a hairy antlered Grinch who is set on destroying the joy of Christmas. She is not very well received in Moose Springs as the rich socialite she is, which is very far from the rest of the population in this small town. So naturally Lana experiences a few difficulties there during the holiday season..

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren

For most people Christmas is the most wonderful time of the year but for Maelyn it’s most definitely not! She lives with her parents and has a job that she really hates. And on top of that she just made a huge mistake and lost the love of her life.

It’s also the last Christmas she will spend at the cabin in Utah with her family. But fate actually has other plans for her. It traps her in a strange loop that lets her relive her arrival in Utah over and over. It is going to take a miracle to snap her out of it and to take her into her real future. Will she manage or will she be stuck there forever?

Just writing about these books I feel the need to make myself some hot cocoa and start reading right away! I hope you got some inspiration for this holiday season too!
